Brothers Barr Acrobats, c1920 - 1939
Photograph of two male acrobats performing on a motorbike. The motorbike has a flag on the handle bars marked 'Bros Barr' (Brothers Barr). The Brothers Barr were Thomas and Charles Barr, originally miners, of Lochgelly, Fifeshire. They were also later billed as the Aberdonians. The brothers are performing in front of a lorry marked Moxon's Circus. Moxon's Circus is recorded as travelling in 1928 and 1929 in the World's Fair.
