Scope and Contents
Two folders. Folder 1 (marked 'Notes miscellaneous'): Notes and essays dating from April 1950 to January 1951. Manuscript. Folder 2: A mixed bundle of typescript and manuscript poetry and prose sheets. Includes typescript of contents for Starting To Make A Tree, 'despatched to Hutchinsons . . . on October 2nd 1961', and typescript workings of The Memorial Fountain. The whole of this bundle has a 'cover' which is a typescript letter on pink paper, dated 8 August 1985, signed by Janet Burley from the Socialist Bookfair events committee. She asks Roy Fisher if he would 'be interested in participating in the readings of banned books.
