Black and white photograph of Laurina 'Topsy' Sanger, equestrian performer and eldest daughter of George and Ellen 'Nellie' Sanger (nee Chapman). She was first noted as performing an equestrian scene with Sanger's circus, in 1865. Topsy is seen seated on a horse in a field.
