Two ring bound folders containing transcribed copies of pocket diaries, kept by Robert Saunders between 1935 and 1940, compiled by L. Aspden. The original diaries are difficult to read, with entries appear to have been written in haste and often words are not clear. Where words have been misspelled the transcription records them as they appear. Please note that details recorded in the engagements and memoranda pages of the diaries have not been transcribed (including names, addresses and notes on expenditure).
