Including studio portrait photographs, photographs taken for publicity purposes and candid photographs, of individual performers and groups of performers in costume onstage and backstage, with the animals they trained, at the family caravan site, on holiday, and at weddings and other family occasions. Accompanied by photographs showing general views of circus tents, fairgrounds and crowds, as well as photographs of steam engines, fairground amusements, rides and catering stalls, some of which were owned by W.
