Biography
Marie Reeve was a circus performer and a granddaughter of George Sanger and Ellen Chapman, her parents were Sarah Harriet Reeve (nee Sanger) and Arthur Reeve. She performed in her grandfather's circus as an equestrian and acrobat. Marie married Fred Philipi, an acrobat, and performed in music hall.
