Biography
George Dawson was a fair and steam enthusiast from Kendal in the Lake District, Cumbria.
During his long standing interest in the travelling fairground, George was involved with various societies and preservation groups and helped organise a number of steam rallies.
George was a volunteer operator of the fairground organ housed at Levens Hall just outside Kendal.
George died in 2018.
