Slides of Kirkaldy Fair, 18 May 1981
Colour slides taken at Kirkaldy Fair by George McIndoe as inserts to a documentary on Scottish fairgrounds. Most of the images cover the arrival and build up of the rides, trucks and wagons and some show fairground families, including Testo, Biddall and Wilmot's. There are also photographs of the opening ceremony with the Lord Mayor and other dignitaries and members of the Showman's Guild as well as Carl Pinder's with his clown face painting both and a series of the fair at night.
