Documents relating to some members of the family of Edmund Burke, politician and author.

The collection consists of nineteen documents, mostly letters, relating to some members of the family of the eighteenth century politician and author Edmund Burke. In particular, the documents relate to Burke’s older sister Juliana, later Mrs. Patrick French, and her daughter Mary, later Mrs. Haviland. The letters date from 1762 to 1832, but there is also an explanatory note dated 2017 included within the collection.
