Biographical / Historical
The Batley, Morley and Ossett Labour Representation Committee was formed on 12 January 1918 in response to the redistribution of parliamentary constituencies resulting from the Representation of the People Act, 1918. The Committee was subsequently known as the Batley, Morley and Ossett Divisional Labour Party.
