In the script, the 'MCC' refers to a fictitious international espionage network founded in 1787. The script satirically and humorously details the presence of 'MCC' ambassadors throughout significant historical events, such as WW1, WW2 and royal weddings. It is interspersed with self-aware cricket references, as 'MCC' also refers to the Marylebone Cricket Club based at Lords, also founded in 1787.
