Scope and Contents

Black and white photograph printed onto wood of Barry Hines (far left), Pat Cardarelli (next to Hines) and Pete Gooding (second from right). The photograph was taken in the early 1960s whilst Hines was living in Hampstead and teaching in London. "Barry thought that Pete was the bees knees!". The names of Cardarelli and Gooding were used for the detectives in 'The Heart of It'.
