His daughter (left), a young girl kneeling in profile to the right, holds his right hand, kissing it. The little Dauphin stands on tip-toe, clasping his father's waist. Behind (right) Mme Elisabeth sits weeping at a table, on which are an open book and a rosary. One of many prints on the same subject, the last interview on 20 Jan.
