Subscription books of the Howard Street Chapel congregation, with a note inside each reading 'In a meeting held in the Vestry of Howard Street Chapel on the 20th day of June 1842 it was unanimously resolved; - that a subscription should be entered into, towards raising the amount of Mr Bayley's salary...'.
