From the Series:
In February 1939 F.M. Heywood, a Tutor of Trinity Hall, Cambridge, was appointed Master of Marlborough College in succession to George Charlewood Turner. The letters in this section relate to unrest at the College during his tenure and include references to a critical Report by Inspectors of the Ministry of Education. Norwood was a member of the Council of the College from 1926 to 1956.
