Cabinet card studio photograph of Ellen 'Topsy' Austin (nee Coleman). Ellen was an equestrian performer and granddaughter of 'Lord' George and Ellen Sanger. Ellen married Harry Austin, a member of the Austin Family Equestrian Troupe. Ellen Austin was born in 1878 and died in 1969. The card is printed with 'A. M. Bliss & Co Lewes' on the front and 'A. M. Bliss & Co 34 Lansdowne Place, Lewes' on the reverse.
