Biography
Robert Matthew Chase (Bob) was born in 1957 in King's Lynn, which inspire his photographic project on the fair.
In 1975, aged 18, Bob enrolled at Harrow School of Photography, Film and Television in London, now part of Westminster University. He attended the Advanced Diploma in Photography course for the next three years and his graduation project was based around the annual fairground at King's Lynn.
Bob's professional career however is not on photography but on business and mental health.
Between 1989 and 1990 Bob enrolled in the Open University to obtain a Certificate in Effective Management in the field of Business Studies. In 2014 he enrolled on the Bangor University Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, teacher training. Currently, Bob is the co-founder of 'Mindful in the City', a partnership of Mindfulness teachers based in north London providing training and courses in Mindfulness to the general public and to staff working in the charity, health and business sectors.
