Biography

A married scene painter and actor who migrated to Victoria, Australia in the 1850’s. He continued his work there, specialising in “picturesque realisations” such as cities and countryside. After providing the scenery for ‘Julius Caesar’ on the 10th September 1864, he was found dead at his home in Richmond four days later.
