Biography

She was the actress daughter of Robert Copeland, a theatre manager in Dover. After making her name at the Surrey Theatre, she married the actor Edward Fitzwilliam. She had two children; Edward Francis and Kathleen. Her later years saw her become a leading London actress and a theatre manager. She died of Cholera, aged 53.
