Biography
Was a chemist apprentice in his early years before taking an interest in stage life. He married a Miss Jerrold and his sister was Mrs Fitzwilliam. After becoming well known on the western and northern circuits for his acting, he turned to management, replacing Mr Hammond at the Liver Theatre, Liverpool and the Strand Theatre in London.
