Biography

Helmut Striffler was a German architect and academic. He was mainly active in Mannheim, Germany, where he was known for his church buildings in the 1950s and 1960s. He is best known as the architect of the Brutalist Church of Reconciliation on the site of the former Dachau concentration camp, which was built between 1964 and 1967.
