Biography
Günter Behnisch was a German architect born near Dresden in 1922. He trainined at the Technical University in Stuttgart before establishing his own architecture practice in the city in 1952, which from 1966 became Behnisch and Partners. His most famous projects included the Olympic Park in Munich built for the 1972 Summer Olympics and the parliament building in Bonn, which was completed in 1992.
