Biography

Emile Swann was an Irish magician born c1927. He was the first magician to saw a woman in half with a chainsaw.

Emile performed with stage and life partner Hillary as Emily ad Hillary a sharp shooting act and they were regulars at the annual Magicians Convention held in Blackpool where they always presented dare devil acts.

Emily and Hillary specialised in dangerous stunt acts and had a pact that if either of them was seriously maimed during their act, they will help each other die. When Emile accidentally shot Hillary during an act in the 1960s and she was left in a vegetative state, Emily carry his promise through.

Emily and Hillary had two sons who followed their parents footsteps into magic and show business.
