Biography
Harold Thomas Swan (1922-2011), MD, FRCP, FRCPath, was a distinguished haematologist who became Honorary Lecturer in Medical History, University of Sheffield, and was formerly Consultant in Haematology at United Sheffield Hospitals. He began his medical training at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. Dr. Swan was one of the founders of the British Society of Haematology.
