I remember happy times visiting the fair most often with my Dad. Many a time I would come home with a goldfish in a plastic bag - a prize from the Hook-A-Duck stall. Those were the days, in the 1970s, where it was quite the norm for stalls to hand out live goldfish.
I also remember the plaster clowns with their mouths opening and closing to accept a ping-pong ball that I carefully directed down a skittle-like alley, small scale, of course.
