Biography
Liz Gray was educated in Birmingham and at Bristol University, where she took the Radio, Television and Film course. As an undergraduate in the Drama Department she won a BBC competition to make a documentary film for television. Her chosen subject was the life of a travelling showman’s family in the West of England. The resulting film, ‘Razzle Dazzle’, was shot over several months and was broadcast on BBC West. After graduation she worked in television and directed a documentary film about Priddy Fair, sponsored by the Fairground Association of Great Britain.
