Biography

John Barker was a lifelong fairground enthusiast, his interest stemming from his childhood in rural Lincolnshire, where a visit of the funfair was a hugely anticipated social and technological showcase.

John's collection of photographs of fairground rides were produced following his retirement in 1992.

John had two children and son and a daughter.
