Biography

Circus Central is a Newcastle circus crts hub that offers people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to develop skills, perform and gain qualifications in circus. Additional Circu Central works with local schools, community organisations and organise public events.

Circus Central operates from two sites, one in Shieldfield and one in Elswick, delivering education programmes including drop in classes, after school clubs, BTEC qualifications and a Five Ring Youth Troupe.

They support fulfilling careers in the arts offering training, rehearsal space, and professional development as well as hosting events by local, national and international artists to offer Newcastle people the opportunity to enjoy world class circus arts performances in the heart of the city.
