Dave Homer Video (Established 1989)
Biography
Dave Homer Video was established in 1989, producing videos of fairgrounds in the UK and Europe, fairground transport, vintage scenes, railways and trams.
The almost total lack of any archive footage on celluloid proved to be constant source of encouragement when setting out to record the modern fairground scene both at home and abroad. The company has built up a large customer base both in the UK and abroad, amassing hours of video footage over the years.
Since the 1992 season, all recordings were created on SVHS, giving maximum picture quality for the reasonable levels of investment in equipment for a subject with quite a limited level of interest. Most titles are without commentary.
