S.D.C. (c1960 - 1993) (Amusement Rides Manufacturers)

 Organisation

Biography

S.D.C. was an Italian amusement ride manufacturing company, owned by Walter Spaggiari, Mack D. Duce and Giancarlo Casoli, whose family name initials formed the company's name. Walter Spaggiari and Giancarlo Casoli came from the sector after spending years working with Barbieri Rides and Mirabiliandia Amusement Park, respectively in the 1960s. It was approximately during this decade that the three men formed their own company.

Giancarlo Moncigoli, who now owns his own ride manufacturing company Moncigoli Rides S.A.S was an electrical engineer and external consultant and supplier for the S.D.C. Company for 27 years.

S.D.C. went bankrupt near the end of 1993 and the rights to various rides passed to C&S, S&MC, and Zamperla.
